This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, mobile applications, and dashboard.
1. Data we collect
When you sign up, request a quote, book a consultation or engage us for a service, we collect identifiers such as your name, email, phone number, address and, where required by a regulator, government IDs (PAN, Aadhaar masked, passport). We also collect business information you upload — for example MoA, financial statements or trademark specimens. Usage data such as IP address, device type, pages visited and referral URL is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to deliver the services you have purchased, file documents with statutory authorities on your behalf, communicate updates, send transactional notifications, prevent fraud, comply with our legal obligations under Indian law (including the Companies Act, Income-tax Act and the DPDP Act, 2023), improve our products and, where you have consented, send you marketing content. We never sell personal data.
3. Sharing
We share information with empanelled professionals (CAs, CSs, advocates) handling your case, regulators (MCA, GSTN, IP India, EPFO, ESIC, RBI), payment partners, cloud and email infrastructure providers, and analytics tools — all under strict confidentiality and data-processing agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect IVEC's rights.
4. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard controls including TLS 1.2+ transport, encryption at rest, role-based access, audit logs and annual third-party security reviews. Government IDs are stored on segregated, encrypted systems with restricted access on a need-to-know basis. Despite reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is fully secure — we recommend you keep your password unique and notify us at info@ivec.in if you suspect any unauthorised access.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, port, restrict or erase your personal information, withdraw consent for marketing, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India. To exercise any right, write to our Grievance Officer at info@ivec.in with the subject line "Data request". We respond within 30 days. Note that certain records (for example, tax filings) must legally be retained for prescribed periods even after closure of your account.
